Hello! My name is Linda Walsh and I am a doll maker and doll pattern designer.
I thought you might like to see a picture of who I am, but as you can tell from the picture above I always have to be different.
Now, I know what you’re going to say. You’re going to tell me that that isn’t a picture of you, Linda! Well, you’re right! It’s a picture of “The Little Victorian Girl” that has become my Linda Walsh Originals mascot and logo.
So, why am I showing that as a picture representing me? For a really good reason - SURVIVAL!!!!!!
You see, I live in a house filled with over 1,496 handmade dolls and, they rule everything.
Albeit, I created all of them and they aren’t human. But, that doesn’t matter to them. They out vote me just by sheer numbers.
So, to keep peace in “The Dollie Storage Room”, which is where they live - over the garage, I had to make the picture that represents all of us “The Little Victorian Girl.”
We, that is, all the dolls and I, are the owners of Linda Walsh Originals which sells “Doll Patterns For Grown-up Girls!”, Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns which sells “Instant Download E-Patterns For Grown-up Girls!”, Linda Walsh Originals Dolls which sells “Handmade Dolls & Crafts For Grown-up Girls!”, and my BRAND NEW Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts Website.
And, we have two bookstores - one all about dolls called Linda’s Doll Bookstore for Books on Dolls and Doll Making and the other all about crafts called Linda’s Crafts Bookstore for Books About Crafts and Crafting.
They’re filled to the brim with books. So, if you love books, dolls, and crafts you’re going to love our bookstores.
Plus, we just created a BRAND NEW “Gray Is Beautiful Products” store for selling our “Gray Is Beautiful” line of products. They are products geared towards all the baby boomers, senior citizens, and women with gray and white hair. The”Grays” are “Proud to be Gray” and don’t mind telling you so. They are in charge and have been working really hard on their brand new store.
The “dollies” and I also write a monthly column called “Tips From The Blogging Queen” for the Faithful Friends Online Monthly Newsletter and have a “Tips From The Blogging Queen” blog containing all my columns and other FREE articles I have written.
We also have a monthly sewing club entitled “Linda’s Twelve Months of Sewing Club” that offers everyone a chance to get some of my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns for FREE.
It’s twelve months of sewing and is open to everyone. Basically, anyone who buys the featured “Instant Download E-Pattern” for the month within the month gets a FREE* E-Pattern (*of equal or lessor value) emailed to them. What could be better than that?
Well, anyone who purchases an item or items from our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls and our new Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website during the month gets the Twelve Months of Sewing Club’s featured pattern for FREE. The FREE e-pattern is emailed to them after we receive notification of payment from PayPal. If you’d like to know more please visit our “Linda’s Twelve Months of Sewing Club” blog.
If all that isn’t enough we also have “a zillion blogs”which we also write for. Needless to say we do a lot of writing. Our blogs are as follows:

Plus, we have a wonderful blog to go with our two bookstores called “The Book Review Corner.” I have an extensive collection of books on dolls and crafts that I have acquired over the years and thought it would be fun to review some of the books in my collections, as well as other books concerning dolls and crafts. It’s a great blog to visit.
We actually have seven other blogs, but, you get the idea.
We do have a “zillion” blogs.
Why so many, you might wonder?
Well, the dolls just love to see their names in print.
We also have two other blogs which are actually plugboard blogs. They were created to help give the small business crafter on the web a place to plug their website for FREE. They are:
Dollie and Crafts Plugboard
Crafting For All Plugboard
We also offer affordable advertising on some of our websites and blogs. Please click on ADVERTISING for more information on advertising with Linda Walsh Originals.
A lot of our blog readers asked if we would be converting our Linda’s How-Do-I Series? Helpful Tips For Crafters With Websites and Blogs to .PDF versions and we decided to not only convert them into .PDF format for you , but to make them available as “Instant Download E-Pamphlets” as well.
So, our Linda’s How-Do-I Series? Helpful Tips For Crafters With Websites and Blogs that we wrote for our “Tips For Crafters On The Web” blog is now available in four .PDF “Instant Download E-Pamphlets” on our Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website.
We also have a toplist entitled “Top Blogs By Crafters” that we started to showcase some of the best blogs by crafters on the Internet.
You see, I like to do as much as a I can to help showcase “artists & crafters” on the net.
Why?
For a couple of reasons.
First, the arts & crafts community on the net is one of the best communities out there. Everyone is always so willing to help everyone else out.
Secondly, everyone is so skilled and so creative that I like to showcase their talent as much as I can. So, wherever I can I try to promote all the artists and crafters on the net.
And last but not least, I need something to write about in all those blogs besides “dolls” - don’t I?
